20th, 21st and 22nd of April 2012
This 3 day workshop will be held in Vancouver on the 20th 21st and 22nd of April 2012. The course is being led by Daryl Herbert an Osteopath from the UK. Daryl is a senior technique lecturer at the British School of Osteopathy, he lectures all over the world along with running his own clinic in Chigford, England. He was also an associate to Laurie Hartman when he first qualified as an osteopath who you may be familiar with. This course has been offered twice by the CCO in Toronto and was also delivered at last years symposium in Montreal. Held for the first time in Vancouver last year, the course was a great success and was very well received.
As you know we rarely get workshops offered here in Vancouver so this is a great opportunity. I know that there will be a lot of interest for this course so it will be on a first come first served basis. You will get a confirmation email once the cheque has been received and cleared. An application form is attached to this email and that has the cancellation policy and where the cheques should be sent.
The course will be held at the Utopia Academy, a registered massage therapy school in downtown Vancouver. There is ample parking at the venue and it is also easy to reach by transit right by the stadium-chinatown skytrain station and a 5 minute walk from many bus routes.
The course involves introducing the concept of Minimal Lever Manipulation, including foundation concepts of handling, operator posture, positioning and stance, also modifying factors, the barrier and mid range focussing. The main emphasis will be on techniques to the Lumbar, Thoracic, Cervical and Sacroiliac regions with a direction towards the junctions of the spine. Massage tables are provided by the venue.
The cost of the course is $550 for the 3 full days. A discount rate at the Sandman hotel downtown has been negotiated for anyone travelling from out of town, let me know if you will be needing this. Email me once you have sent the cheque and you can attach the application form with that.

This is a follow up to the first course that was held in July and the first course is being repeated again in April.
